14 Feb, 2017, with the efforts of intelligent equipment department and product department, the last subsystem of automatic pipe handing system – knuckle boom general assembling work has been complete successfully.

The subsystem is responsible for holding the drill pipe in the site and put it on the pulley of catwalk, it adopts axis control, accurately control and oprately smoothly and steady. But it is difficult for general assembly, especially roll over work of the folding arm and the installment for pin withb300 KG weight. Finally, all the technician and installer repeatedly demonstrated for assembly plan, they conquer all the difficulties and ensure the complete assembly of the knuckle, it lay the foundation for union commissioning of the total system.
